UK Delivery Options
UK orders for delivery to a UK address have two (2) delivery options – home delivery or free school/club delivery. Please see below for further information about UK delivery options.
We always aim to dispatch all goods in stock as quickly as possible regardless of the delivery service selected, and usually within 10 working days. These lead times can change for bespoke made items and we will endeavour to keep your Club/School representative informed with delivery dates.
Home Delivery - This is our standard delivery option, unless specifically instructed (see below) the site will automatically provide this service. Where possible orders will be delivered by our own drivers, although this is not always the case and on occasions either Royal Mail signed for post or a courier company (APC) will be used. Our drivers will always leave parcels in a safe place if you are not in, and leave a note informing you of their location. Couriers are instructed to try at a neighbours’ address as they do normally require a signature to ensure safe traceable receipt of your goods. If you are not available to collect and sign on the courier’s first visit, a calling card will be left with the courier’s contact number to arrange re-delivery. If you have special requests regarding leaving your parcel in a secure place please include these in the “special instructions” when proceeding with your order.
Free Delivery - If you require the `free delivery` option you will need to enter the word either school or club in the `Promotional Code` box when prompted at the checkout. After typing in this code you will see that the shop cart has deducted the cost of delivery. Your items will then be dispatched to the PE department at your School or to your Club representative, it then becomes your responsibility to collect your parcel from them. Please ensure that you provide as much detail as possible (pupil name/class/age etc) on your order (please use the special instructions section of the order form) so that your delivery can be carried out as quickly as possible.
Delivery of bespoke items
If you order goods which are “made to order” we will try to provide lead time information on the individual product information, this can sometimes apply to certain brands of teamwear, particularly playing kits. Lead times can vary between brands and at different times of the year and as products are generally manufactured abroad can be subject to unpredictable delays in shipping, however we will endeavour to keep your school/club representative informed should this situation arise.
Split delivery
On rare occasions, we may need to split the delivery of your order into parts based on stock availability. If you have requested club/school delivery the back ordered items we will sent via the school PE department/club representative as per your original order. For orders with home delivery these items will be delivered via Royal Mail Signed for Post. Once again, please ensure that as many details (pupil name/class/age etc) are provided in the special instructions section of the order from so that your delivery can be carried out as quickly as possible.
Collection from our warehouse
If you would like to collect your order from our factory please proceed with your order as normal and type collect in the ‘promotional code’ box when prompted at the checkout. Please also enter details of your intended collection time in the special instructions section of your order form to ensure we have your goods ready for your arrival. We will require your order confirmation on collection. The warehouse is open from 9 am – 5pm on weekdays, driving directions can be found on the Contact Us section of this website.
Returns & Exchanges
Exchanges
On receiving your goods, should you discover that you require an alternative size of garment to the one originally ordered, we will exchange it for the correct size. The exact procedure for this exchange depends on the items you are exchanging and the time of year you are making the exchange.
For club merchandise - please post the item(s) to Ambition Sport Returns, Unit A5 Greensole Yard, Greensole Lane, Manston Road, Ramsgate, Kent CT12 5BE with the completed returns/exchanges note. Please note, that if you require a senior size in a product which was originally ordered as a junior item you will also need to include a cheque for any difference in cost. Your exchanged item will then be posted to your home address as soon as stock it available.
For school PE kit ordered between the last week of July and the first week of September (during summer holidays). Please either
1. Re-order the item(s) again via the same method as your original order, however you should also include in the `special instructions` section of your order form which items you would like collecting and your contact details. We will then arrange for our driver to collect your unwanted items when delivering your new order. You will then be credited for the returned goods.
2. Post the item(s) to Ambition Sport Returns, Unit A5 Greensole Yard, Greensole Lane, Manston Road, Ramsgate, Kent CT12 5BE with the completed returns/exchanges note. Please note, that if you require a senior size in a product which was originally ordered as a junior item you will also need to include a cheque for any difference in cost. Your exchanged item will then be posted to your home address as soon as stock is available.
3. Check with your school about dates for our school PE kit sales days and bring in the items for exchange on the day. If you are unsure as to whether there is a summer kit day(s) at your school contact us on 0800 0180262.
For school PE kit ordered between the second week in September and the last week of July (normal school term time). Please either
1. Post the item(s) to Ambition Sport Returns, Unit A5 Greensole Yard, Greensole Lane, Manston Road, Ramsgate, Kent CT12 5BE with the completed returns/exhanges note. Please note, that if you require a senior size in a product which was originally ordered as a junior item you will also need to include a cheque for any difference in cost. Your exchanged item will then be posted to your home address as soon as stock is available.
2. Contact us on 0800 0180262 to arrange a suitable time to deliver the items and exchange them in person at our warehouse in Manston near Ramsgate. Please ensure you call ahead to make sure someone is available to deal with your exchange and the appropriate stock is prepared for you to take away.
Refunds
You may cancel your order any time within seven (7) working days, beginning on the day after you received the goods. We will refund the price of the goods in full, however the delivery costs originally paid are non-refundable unless your entire order is cancelled within seven (7) working days of receipt of goods. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. If a refund is payable to you we will process the refund as soon as possible, and, in any case within thirty (30) days of the day you gave written notice of cancellation.
To cancel an order you must return the goods to us immediately. The goods must be returned in the same condition in which you received them, and they will be returned at your own cost and risk.
Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If you return goods claiming they are defective, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund/replacement via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case within thirty (30) days of the day we confirm via e-mail that you are entitled to a refund for defective goods.
If a refund is payable to you, we will use the same method used by you to pay for your order.
